And Rowan said, "Let there be blueberry muffins"; and there were blueberry muffins. And Rowan saw that the blueberry muffins were good; and Rowan separated the blueberry muffins from their little silicone baking cups.

GrammaDonna's Blueberry Muffins


blueberries

½ cup butter

1 cup sugar

2 eggs – well beaten

4 cups flour

8 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

2 cups milk


Cream the butter. Add the sugar gradually, then add the eggs. Sift the flour, salt, and baking powder and add alternately with the milk to the butter mixture. Fold in the blueberries.


Bake @ 400 for 20-25 minutes.

AND DADDY CAME HOME AND ATE ALL THE BLUEBERRY MUFFINS and he was content and for the rest - there were NONE!

This is just super cute. Up at the ARGH gathering some of the kids playing at my cabin decided to read the BIBLE one night and the rest of the weekend was "and God said 'let there be light, and there was light"
giggle, giggle, giggle.

Apparently the Bible is MUCH more entertaining than I remember.;) I said "let there be blueberry muffins" and nothing appeared. I need more powers.

I did this post because Dagny and Rowan memorized that part of the bible (from reading it in hotel rooms) and Rowan was just reciting it the other day.

Maybe you just need to be closer to me when you say it, Ren :o).
