I've named this necklace "Moon". What I was thinking about when I made it was how my dad used to come into my room after I went to bed and say, "Flower, come see the moon!" and I would go with him in my pajamas to see the moon shining out in the night sky. But that seemed like a long name for a simple little necklace.

I love that memory. I can vividly remember a specific night in Duxbury...looking out the window in our bedroom at the full moon over the back yard. I thought the fact that they woke us up to see it was quite magical.

How wonderful that your father called you "flower".

He actually called all of us girls - his four daughters and lots of grand-daughters - flower. But somehow he made it sound like it only meant you.

Jon throws out a "Flower, come see the moon!" every once in a while for me :o).
