Of all my jewelry, these necklaces are my favorite to make. Pretty beads, bending wire, and happy thoughts of mamas and babies. It feels like time well spent.

The first nursing necklace I ever made was for Timmy.
He went from nursing to driving very quickly, but I hear he still remembers his necklace.

I've named this necklace "Moon". What I was thinking about when I made it was how my dad used to come into my room after I went to bed and say, "Flower, come see the moon!" and I would go with him in my pajamas to see the moon shining out in the night sky. But that seemed like a long name for a simple little necklace.

My niece Amy is a knitwit. She's combining knitting with needle-felting to make all sorts of pretties.

There's these little guys, pretty little pants and sleepers and diaper covers...wanna see it all? It's just a click away.

I'm still working on that stretching my comfort zone thing, making an effort to get my shop out there. Today there's an interview on byhand.me, and another on a blog.
I took a peek at Julie Person's shop today, and she's only 2 sales away from 2,000 sales! How cool is that? Maybe some of you would like to be numbers 1999 and 2000? Her work is gorgeous. I love my tapestry (made by Julie and gifted to me by the Traaseths) and can't wait to hang it in its new spot in our studio/office/atelier/gunroom.
